You're dealing with DYE. Once the filter turns red, it stays red.

I see some of you are running WMO. What gives? I'd thought of it, since it's petroleum, but doesn't it plug up the filter rather quickly? And, what's the average ratio of WMO to diesel? I have about 15 gals. floating around that hadn't gotten to the auto parts store for recycling. If I can run it, I will, especially with the fuel prices these days.

there are several threads in the alternative fuels section outlining several set ups. basically the key is to prefilter the oil well and if your glow plugs are in good shape you should have no trouble running mixes up to 50%
