Need E4OD help

It's blinking because the TCM has fault codes stored. The TCM can hold codes and not dump into limp mode.

Because its shifting through all gears, the TCM is getting a tach signal. Scan it for codes.

Checked codes again ast night, 11 & 15. Cleared them again but came right back, truck is still running fine though

(O) = Key On Engine Off test
(R) = Key On Engine Running test
(M) = Memory code

11 System checks OK -

15 (O) No Keep Alive Memory power to PCM pin 1 or bad PCM (Memory Test Failure)
(M) KAM (pin 1) was interrupted (was battery disconnected ?)

Which fuse is the TCM fuse? And would it be the same on a 1990 7.3? Bc mine is having the same prob but it's going into limp mode

It should be marked on the cover. Same fuse covers the Cig lighter. I can't remember the number.

Mine doesn't say TCM it says overdrive light that's the closet to transmission related it says

Number 22 in the power distribution box. Is a 20 amp maxi, in the middle row, last one away from the Fender wall

I honestly couldn't say. Did the brick noses have an e4OD. I wouldn't think a C6 would have a TCM

Oh, I stand corrected. Lol
I'm not sure but I know that's how my 94 is set up. I would guess it's similar but that's all it is.
I had a problem with the fuel preheater blowing my TCM fuse, they are stupidly on the same fuse. So, I simply unplugged the preheater

Okay bc that sounds like what my 1990 is doing, the tach don't work and trans is in limp mode(won't shift have to shift it manually from low to high lol

Lol, I was thinking slant nose.
My tach wouldn't work and it had no take off, let it was starting in 3rd or something, but reverse worked. Everything just went screwy, basically

The E4OD needs a tach signal to work. No signal it will go into high pressure (limp) mode.

Yeah it trying to take off in third or forth gear but reverse works just hits hard lol
