well 3 days at 10 amps the motor still wont turn fast enough to start so i think the 31s r shot. ya i know first i killed group 31s thread. so where you guys recomend getting them? and locally new i found them for 1200cca for $140 and 950cca for $105. is that a decent price? anyone have used the interstate rehab batteries? also can someone link me the 3g alt mod i think this is needed now with all the electronics thanks.

Three days at 10 amps? Takes 600 to 800 amps to start to turn over a diesel. Sounds like your cables are corroded at the ends, by that I mean the wire under the cover, nasty green looking. Charge both your batteries, unhook the neg post on each one while charging, after fully charged, hookup one neg terminal, turn headlights on, then check the voltage, should be 12 to 12.5disconnect neg on that one , do the same on the 2nd one. A dead battery will check 10.5 or below.

I think the prices for those batteries sound decent. I always go bigger than needed with everything, especially batteries since I need the peace of mind for winter with my little guy depending on me. And 10 amp charges that long indicate things aren't well.

well it was 14 v but turned over slowly starter is fairly new maybe i should test that first just in case
is there anyway to measure amps on a 12v system? i got two multi meters but dont know how tu use anything more than volts and ohms.
and no corrosion on the terminals is not an issue no corrosion and they are about 6 months old
but i will check the wires on the starter side for any issues.
ive been charging it up once a month or so trying to figure out this draw i must have (this draw somehow got worse with g31s) with stock batts it would need charged after sitting a week or two right after 31s it needed charged after a day that is why im thinking the batts are the issue.
