I have another 7.3l idi, in a truck someone gave to me so I decided to take the heads off that motor. Now there in the machine shop being rebuilt. I'll have to wait for a week or two but atleast I'll have the right ones. (I hope they don't find any cracks)
This is a total rebuild- I had all 8 cyl re-sleaved, new cam, new bearings, rings, crank polished, re-build heads,new lifters, rebuilt injection pump.
Everything is magna fluxed and so on.
Most people only re-sleave one bank but I thought with all the $ I have spent it made sence to do them all. It should be a nice motor in the end.
