Pretty nice looking tips after 50k!
All the injectors cracked loose nicely and retained their copper washers.

The truck is running, I took it for a spin and the e4OD is shifting poorly so I'm off to dial in the TPS.

I've had the block heater plugged in to keep the engine hot, currently maintaining 160* at the IP to give some good hot start tests.

It has been a long while since I've actively posted on the board. In that time the '94 has received some attention.

I replaced the headlights with OEM style housings and replaced both front fenders due to rot in the lower corners.

Looks great! What engine are you working on in the background?

Getting her cleaned up before the next snow storm.

Who has a good source for a new set of step bars and quality rear bumper?

Dang it.
My truck will not start when hot. This is the original issue I had with the OEM IP, then the Moose pump and again with the Moose JR and Moose Buddy injectors. I installed this IP last September. It has made it around 10k miles until the same old symptoms showed up.

I emailed Conestoga Diesel today, we'll see what they have to say.

Unfortunately, cables look great and the batteries are a matched set. Less than a year old.

It is also hazy at idle, I've never had that before.

No. The starter and alternator have been replaced a couple times. The old starters took some heavy abuse with the hot starting.

I received a solid email from Mel and he was also suspect of possibly cranking slower when warm.

Although the batteries, alternator and starter are fresh I will take another look at the cables to eliminate that.

I am sceptical because I can hook up the 200A engine starter/charger or my JNC 660 and hear VERY little difference if any in the cranking speed....it also does not start when hot even if those items are connected.

Yes. That is the only way I've ever been successful in starting a heat soaked IP.

That is the part that has me bummed out...it seems like classic heat soak.
