Unfortunately, I didn't get the truck done this weekend. But, I got dang close. Another stop at the office by Murphy is part of the problem!!!

I was crawling under the truck to put on the freshly hammered ZF5 dust cover when I noticed a bit of coolant.
I saw there was coolant leaking from around the anchor screw on the block heater. I never touched the block heater when I had the engine out. I thought it may just be loose, so I tried to tighten it down. It wouldn't tighten at all and the leak got worse and worse.
I had to drain all the coolant, drop the starter, and remove the block heater. Sure enough, the butterfly nut on the back of the heater was split in two. Lucky to find it now rather than on the road and after I lost all the coolant. And lucky me, I had an extra block heater........ used but good! I put the spare heater in and it hasn't leaked a drop since.
I still need some new CAT batteries, and to finish up some wiring and reconnect some vaccum stuff, but that should be it. I'll post up the finished product when the time comes. I've got to bust my hump though as I'm on time crunch.
