That meter does not appear to have the clampon line probe or the black box for pluse timing method. But it clearly has the lumi probes and spark plug timing adapters. So you will be able to time a gas engine or diesel but only with the lumi probe type timing.

That red thing at the top is for the spark plug wires and nothing more. That lower red box with the black wires is only going to work with limi probes as it clearly seen to have that end on it.
