more smoke than usual

ok actually i just ran a 250 gallon jug(1/2 in each tank) on the last fill up and this recent fill up i put ATF and i still have another tank full....so you think there is something in the ip??

well since black smoke is usually a result of heavy overfueling, and your air filter is good, the other thing that's left are the IP and injectors...

i had a similar thing like this going on. i completely filled up my tanks, threw a full quart in the front tank like my shop instructor said. smoked more than normal but now that ive burned through it and runnin just straight diesel again its back to normal now.

well ima see what happens when this tank is done ima refill it hopefully it clears up injectors and pump are under 85,000 miles

Perhaps you got bad fuel at that location?
