About another week or so and it *should* be running. Waiting for the Brown Truck of Happiness to bring a box so I can continue work...

Tomorrow I put on the oil cooler and water pump. Then I'll be out of parts so it must be finished!

Yes, I made the manifolds and up-pipes. Took me a while, and I had them coated with black ceramic rated for 2000 degrees.

4500 RPMs with a turned up pump should spool it. Won't see lots of boost until I get a bigger pump though...

with those manifolds and that style up pipes it would be easy to fab up something for a psd turbo or a hx40 all we need is a base for the turbos

So what are you going to do about hood clearance for the turbo? Looks as if it will need quite a hickey.

The exhaust manifolds and up pipes are beautiful, BTW.

Hope you got a pump that will flow some fuel................diesels dont run on air alone............. Just kidding though, looks like a tight build. It will definitely have the strength to put some serious fuel and boost behind it from the looks of it! Congratulations!

The manifold flanges came from Stan's Headers (part# F469). The turbo flange and v-band stuff came from Race Parts Solutions. Stan's also builds full length headers for our engines if you want to hop up a N/A motor.

Building your own turbo kit isn't as expensive as one might think. I put this together for a little more than what a hypermax kit cost. But it just takes a LOT more time.
