*Florida Jet RC-Event...PLEASE READ...and pass along to your contacts!

Do you have any or know of any friends that will be
attending the RC Jet show in Lakeland Florida call
"Florida-Jet" this March 6'th-9'th?

My reason for asking...even though his wife sold all
15 of his Jets and Planes and top of the line
equipment that equaled thousands, and thousands of
dollars I feel (if) my brother is alive (I pray) and
if he is in Florida it would be pretty tough for him
not to attend a few days of this RC-Jet event. I'm on
the edge of booking a flight down there myself but if
you know of anyone that was going to attend maybe they
could print out a few pictures/info from the NJ
Missing Persons website and hand it to the person at
check inn just incase my brother may show up there. I
found out from the shows Promoter that there's only
one way in and out at the field location> (Linder
Regional Airport). Between 500-700 people a day
Thursday-Friday, maybe twice that amount Saturday
Sunday.

Yes it's 100% real however it seems like a bad nightmare.
My brother and I were very close and he did at times talk about relocating to Florida...his wife would have no part of it. HOWEVER...not one thing of his was taken...no clothes, vehicle, toys(RC planes etc) not even his wristwatch or cell phone! Up until he disappeared I visited him almost every weekend and he never gave me one hint he was going anywhere. I haven't seen or heard his voice since late July.
All I can say and due to the stories/lies told from a (certain person) some people think he (may) be in Florida laying low and several others think he fell into harmsway before he ever had a chance to leave.
I can't go into details because this case is under investigation and leaked out information may hinder it.
But the fact is, my brother Dan NEVER even so much received a traffic ticket, never delt with alcohol or dugs or stole anything in his life. We (friends and family) feel if he wanted to up and leave for Florida maybe he never got the chance to do so.
At this point (if) he is alive and laying low (why I have no idea)...just want to know if he's breathing...somewhere.
PLEASE FWD my top post you your friends and family...maybe by some slim chance something might come of it...I pray it does.

Ray,

Have you contacted the Florida State Police, or the Police Deaprtment whose jurisdiction the show is in? New Jersey probably will not contact Florida Officials, and the original is probably with the detectives who you filed it with - meaning that the guys out on patrol are handling other things by now, and missing persons cases are then forwarded to detectives for follow up.

Probably the best thing you could do - short of going down there, is to call up the right agency in Florida, cross reference the case number that you have, and explain to them why he should be down there, and ask that they assist you in any way possible and keep following up with them.

Ray, I hope this turns out for the better, my thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

What can be done is to move the actual thread to the lounge and leave a re-direct here in this forum, might get more visibility if we do it that way.

Would like to get maximum exposure across the boards for Ray.
