Injector would be my first guess.

Currently with my DD, it is the marble Nicole left in the cup holder of the car seat!

Check your timing, if injector timing is off it can sound like that at idle.

Another thing to look at is the cold start advance, mine clatters like a can of spray paint until it kicks off.

WAV file?

Ummm...are you joking!?!? I'm lucky I can log onto this place. Seriously, I don't have any idea how to do that or the equipment to do it with. I think my timing may be off though. I've lost a few points on the SOTP gauge & it doesn't sound right at ilde. Would the truck have started at all if I was one tooth off when I put the truck back together?

Scott, maybe you can make the meet in York Thanksgiving Sunday. Check the BOOB for details.

Can you isolate it to where on the engine you hear it? How about removing accessory belts one at a time to rule out those possibilities?
