I was doing some reading and found out that the fuel filter light sensor in the filter head is actually a vacuum switch. Once the light comes on its useually too late, SO I'm thinking about getting an oil pressure switch that turns on below 5psi or so and installing in place of the vac switch. The only difference would be that the Fuel filter light will come on at start up until it gets pressure. Then when pressure dorps it should come on before the filter is sucked dry.
SO....Good idea or not?
