That is the 7.3 controller, it's the same one as used on 6.0 and 6.4 trucks. Cali 01-03 Trucks, and all Excursions use them. They actually monitor all of the glow plugs and will throw codes for dead glows.

So those trucks dont use GP relays then?

i have never seen a 7.3 with one of them.ive worked on all year ranges,cali and non cali.

just looked it up on prolink, 00-07 ford diesel california emmisions. I wonder what it does differently?
