I picked up a D58 rear semi float eight lug rear end out of a ¾ Ford van with a 7.3 in it. I actually just wanted it for the rear disk brakes. I wanted to see if they would work on our 96 Sterling full float rear end in our F250. But the guy made me a good deal on the whole rear end so I grabbed it. Now that I have it and see how good of shape it is in I am thinking it might be worth using as it is. I am not fond of the semi float part, but it might be a good choice for my Dodge D200. Anyhoo, can any one tell me anything about it? Is it a good rear end, are parts easy to get, does the aftermarket have stuff for it? And, will a D60 diff cover fit it?
