Well I've got my eye on a '84 250 IDI (should be the N/A 6.9 right?) 4x4. The current owner says it runs and pulls great and has just minor problems. It's got the 4-speed in it and 4.11 gears. I'm not sure of mileage but he's asking $2200 for it with a tool box, winch bumper, HD pipe bumper out back, and a new set of mud grips.

Can ya'll give me a little info on what I should look for when I go to look at it?

Thanks

Get under the truck and take a look at the back of the motor. If it isn't weaping oil or coolant at the head gasket location... ALSO if you pull the oil filler cap and don't see blow-by when you rev it up, buy the truck. that is a darn good price.

hey, Reb.
probably the best place to start is up above... read through the tech articles & the 'sticky' threads on top.
