I think it was a DRW cab-n-chassis SRW converted to a pickup.

As for the slow and steady? That dont work in truck or tractor pulling, Not where there is someone doing 35 and you are doing 10. The momentum helps carry the sled

I wasn't saying he was gonna win, but the rules say as long as you have forward motion, you can continue your run. I'm gonna bet he was at the bottom of the class, and the judges just didn't want to fool with him. I've seen it before, and its practicle, but a bit of a nit.

I'm gonna have to get a copy of the video when I pulled a few years ago, figure out how to convert it to digital and post it. I ended up about 9th out of 25 trucks, and the only IDI.

It was a little more impressive but they should have not shut him down.

My wife always told me that "slow and steady wins the race",.. must not be talking about sled pullin,..:dunno :sly

So what if it's slow...most guys I've seen pulling with street trucks use low range when they pull too.
