Go to HF and buy something, they'll give you a free VOM. A test light is cheap there for a very good one, or just buy the $9.99 VOM.

Thanks Bill for the suggestion.

However fully equiped with 2 different test lights and a multitude of meters in digital and analogue and well versed on operationg all of them.

Even have a few soldering tools and crimpers and wire strippers
