Go to HF and buy something, they'll give you a free VOM. A test light is cheap there for a very good one, or just buy the $9.99 VOM.

I got the test light now. But I had to go to work in Rhode Island for 7 weeks. So I am still not home.

Maybe its a Light nut?

Its one of those push in lights where the housing is the ground. I am going to get something though to fix it.

I fixed it. So somehow it was a bad ground, even though the whole thing is a ground. So I ended up taping a wire with some stripped section to the housing right next to the bulb, and using the screw for the trailer pig tail outlet for the other end. And then it worked. Just goes to show that it could be something super simple and irritating.
