Alright so doing reaserch on custom light setup for my flatbed and trying to figure out what all is required to run LEDs, some say just change to an electronic flasher others say you need a resistor or the TC wont lockup due to it thinking your on the brakes. Any ideas which is closer to accurate?

Flasher I think because led's take less electricity but like you I'm not sure and would like mor info as my flatbed needs re-lite/wired also

I put LED brake lights on my '90 box van and only had to change out the flasher module to make the whole system happy.

I don't know why the converter would think the breaks were on if the pedal was not depressed, only thing i needed on my 77 f250 and my Chevy blazer was the electronic flasher module.
