No, Landstar is all O/O trucks. Leasing on to them means that I pull only Landstar freight. Which normally is better paying, with less BS. There are a few added benifits as well with a larger company. Fuel, tire, new trucks, repairs discounts they are able to negotiate because of the size of the company.

So in effect you will still be you're own boss & just haul for landstar.

I take it they haul just about everything from coast to coast??

I just read they are trying to even get into the intermodal sea container and warehousing.

sea container hauling out in CA is not something you want to get involved with. The kind of trucks/guys you come in contact with is the polar opposite of A&E.

I have not been to the great state of CaliF***U for almost two years now. No plans on going any time soon.

I plan to continue with flat beding.
