I wanted to say hello to all the IDI crew. I've been a very busy boy. We've moved to Greenville, Ky and I've started my practice. We were moving during the rally this year and I really hated to miss it. But, my hope is to be there next year. I've got a coolant leak but that's about it with the truck. It's running great and it fits into the Ky coutryside a lot better than it did in the urban landscape of Toledo.

I'm looking for a new project! I'm trying to find a crew cab SRW F350 to stuff a light/moderately bomb'ed DT466 into. Still trying to get info on which version of the DT466 is a good platform to start from. I'm also not sure which tranny would be a good mate. Then there's the axles......Beef the stock axles or go for heavier units. :dunno :D

Anyways......Just wanted to drop by and say "Hi". Take care. I'll be looking for the rally photos/posts and whatnot to see what I missed.

Later guys,
Heath

Heath,

Congrats on moving and the new practice and baby. I hope you enjoy it there.

Did you ever figure anything out with your lack of boost/EGT problem?

Good luck with everything,

Paul

Sorry.....I forgot to mention the baby. Ssssshhhhh....Don't tell Missy!LOL

She was born 3/14/07
8lbs. 6oz
Her name is Heidi Elizabeth.........yes........ that's right. IDI is the last half of her first name!;Sweet cookoo
She's doing great and I think she is getting her first tooth.

She's the reason I want a crew cab. It's much easier to haul her, Trooper, missy, myself, and all the crap we take places in a crew cab.

Missy keeps telling me to buy a new truck. She doesn't understand why I would buy an old truck and work on it forever instead of just going out and buying new crew cab SRW F350.

Anyway, there's the stats on little britches.

Good to see You are back after so long Heath and congratulations to You and Your wife.
DT466 eh? That is a big engine there but after I've seen what You did with the other truck I'm sure You can make it work, this timer faster since there is a special NEED.

Too late. Wives know this stuff before you say it ( or write). I don't know how they do it, but they do.

The boost has improved some, but is still not what I think is normal. As far as the coolant leak, it is from the hose/block junction on the driver's side, at least as far as I can tell. Yep, still fueling DPS goodies. I feel bad, I've kinda neglected the truck since the arrival of Heidi and the move and all. Glad to hear from you all. Trooper is doing well and turned 4 on sunday.

I'm and OB/GYN JD.

Thanks. I'm looking for '85-'86 or '92-94 4x4 F350 SRW crew cab with the long bed. I'd reallly like to have the old body style, but they are hard to find.
