I had an NA 86 F250 Supercab with the C6 - see my sig.

Running with no load I consistently got 15 mpg +/- 10%. Highest I ever got was a little over 17. Not stellar mileage, but for a 3/4 ton truck, nothing to complain about either.

Posting Pictures

To post pictures:

When you are in the reply page, scroll down below the word processor window and you will find "additional Options".

Among those options you will find the button "manage attachments".

Click on that and you will have a small window pop up in the upper left hand corner of your screen.

You will find the option to upload files from your computer by clicking on one of the "browse" buttons.

That will open another window from your computer to search for the files you want to upload.

Select the file you want and then click "upload" in the "manage attachments" window.

There is a size limit on pictures, so if it won't upload you will get an error message and you will have to resize the image.

Upload from your computer to photobucket.

Copy the IMG code to the board...

Resulting in full size (up to a megabyte) pics that explain your point well, and make the dial up guys go nuts....

The bonus to the photobucket way, picasa web, whatever, is.... as many pics in a thread as you want.

like this: (noticing that the board resized them, but you can click on the bar and get bigger...)

Thanks for the info. regarding the Moose Pump in the future I may want to upgrade the IP. For now I am enjoying the truck the way it is. In about 3 months is when my brothers and I will convert it to a 4x4. As for as pictures it seems a little complicated to send them thru the computer. I would be able to take pic with my cell phone and send them to someone that could put them up one the site. All I would need is a cell phone # and I could send this afternoon.

At the time of the 4x4 conversion we are going to rebuild the c6 for good measues. Any advice on that, and also I would like to install a heavy duty torque converter with a low stall speed. Any advice on that.
Thanks.

Oh my god that thing is beautiful!:eek:

I'd be afraid to even touch it with my bear hands.

I don't think I have ever seen such a clean truck of that era.
