just a few questions

Hi guys just wondering where to look to find what year psd's had what HP and find what all the fx4 offroad package consists of and what other options are available in the lariat package. Also would like to find a way to read the door tag to find out what gear ratio and if its limited slip or not. Thanks

from what I know
most 94-97 were 215-225 hp.
most 99-2002 autos were 235
most 6 speeds and 2003's were 250.
only differnce in hp is the cpu program.

fx4 had skid plates and immitation rancho rsx shocks.
lariat ment full power and leather and usually captians chairs front and rear.
the sle larait had a special visor and paint scheme.
almost every SD psd Ive seen has 3.73 ls, unless it is a dually then most of them had 4.10

Nick pretty well nailed it.........one other thing to consider (that is, if its a consideration) is that most insurance companies will charge a higher rate for the fx4 package as they tend to get tore up a little more.

You will go just as far down any muddy road or rock strewn trail with a standard 4x4 as you will in the fx4 model.
