It's alive!!

I got the batteries hooked up plumbed the fuel pump in primed the system gave her a shot of ether (glow plugs aren't wired) and cranked her over.

19.5:1 doesn't like to idle when cold.

I only ran it for about 15 seconds because I don't have any water in the radiator (need to buy some heater hose to connect the inlet and outlets)

I'll shoot some video maybe tomorrow if I have time to button her up.

Oh, and if you're wondering the motor is sitting on a stand in my garage, not in my truck.

Your a brave man to run that motor on a stand. My motor would probably torque over and twist off the stand....

It's not a typical stand. It's what's left of an 84 cab and chassis frame from the trans crossmember forward. It'll make sense when I post the vid.
