Is this only a vacuum reservoir?

I'm trying to put an electric vacuum pump on since I have done my hydroboost. This is leaking vacuum. Can I just remove it from the system and install a different reservoir or does it control something?

I’m not sure but you could always unplug it then test all your heat controls and cruise.

Cruise hasn't worked since I got the truck.

I tested it and the vent selector seems to work. That's more than I had before. It's been stuck on defrost.

I had a vacuum leak that I couldn’t track down. My vent controls and cruise haven’t worked since I got the truck so I ran the vacuum pump straight to the brake booster. Only 1 T down to the low vacuum sensor so my brake light wouldn’t come on. Been like that for probably a year now with no issues.

Sorry I don’t have a straight answer on that box you were asking about

I just had that open the other day. It's just a reservoir. You're fine to bypass it and use a different reservoir for your vacuum setup.

Do you have a pic of the low vacuum sensor?

I just learned why my brake light comes on and off for no reason.. not even hooked up to the vacuum system just sitting there.
This was me, like a lightbulb went off while reading this thread and then I asked haha.
