Is there anything hiding in here?

Is there any wires etc runing through this cab brace in the picture? I probed around in there and didn't feel anything, but just want to make sure before I take a sledge hammer to it to gain a little clearance in one spot.

I've never seen any Ford wiring run inside the cab structures so you should be safe to hammer away.

Is that at the back of the cab? I agree w/ BigRig, I don't think Ford ever ran a harness thru a brace like that.

Yup I was up ALL night calculating driveshaft angles finding just the right spot to poke that thing. It's going to wind up all the way at the back under the bed.
Yanked the driveshafts out going down first thing second day to get them either modified or new ones made up. Picked up some rubber mounts today at the Kenworth dealer for the crossmembers, and had some big honkin' U bolts made up at Truck pro to mount the crossmember ears on. With any luck at all, I'll have this thing in third day.I may not have the shift rods all worked out, but at least i should have it in place and I can just poke it into direct and leave it
