I'm looking at the intake throat on my brand new intake manifold. What I want to know is why is the web so big near the front of the web? I know why the web is in this area but why is it designed the way it is. I want to smooth out the air flow bumps some but don't want to kill air flow to the front cylinders or the back cylinders. Is this an air dam or what... Thanks guys....
