It looks like my truck is going to need some injectors in the near future and i was on here tryin to find the different code injectors that they make and i couldnt really find nothin that helped much. (except for like G and i think BB? code ones) Could any of yall explain to me how many different types of injectors are out there for the 7.3 idi's. I'm not lookin to make butloads of power out of it or anythin but i turned mine up about 1.5 - 2 flats or so and it dont have a turbo. and i just want somethin reliable and that wont suck a lot of fuel or anythin. Thanks for any help.

New, there are only the G and BB. You want the BB for best overall performance. The G were for the turbo and emmissions regs. The BB work very well with turbos and give good milage to boot (my CC dually just got about 18mpg unloaded).

You want only the BB code injectors. New ones are the best to buy there cheap about $29 ea., have them pop tested before installing, set to 1850-1900 psi. IIRC typ4 and Agnem sell them, Oregon fuel injection and others. Don't buy the rebuilt ones, they are usually junk. Read the STICKY Oilburners Hall of Shame before buying.
Since you turned up the fuel, I don't see where you have a EGT pyro guage, dangerous to do that without the guage.

Look on ebay but be awhare of the crappy shops selling junk. They can be found in the Hall of Shame fourm here. These are actuall members that have had bad experiances with these listed bad shops. Pensacola has done well by me but others have had issues with them. Figure around $30.00 to $35.00 per new injector and buy the new Bb codes. They work very well even in a turbo engine or non turbo engine. The other codes A B C D E are not made any longer. If you "find some" they are not new and could be rebuilts being sold as new. Sometimes its very hard to know what your getting. Buying from the two members here will be fine... They are both standup guys and many here call them friends. The both will do whatever it take to make you satisfied with you purchase. Honesty is the word that best describes them both....:sly
