My wife managed to put the handle of a waste pump through the back glass today. Does anyone have a brand they love? It seems like there is a lot out there and I am interested in something that is good quality but not outrageous.
Thanks

I would do a solid replacement. I don't even use the slider anymore. Unless I just wanna hear my exhaust. Lol

It didn't occur to me that the winshield guys do back glass. DUH!
That will finally get me off dead center on the windshield. It has been cracked from one side to the other for 10 years and I have never gotten around to replacing it.
Truck deserves some new glass.

The back glass is WAAAY easier than the windshield. Just takes two people. It's the same glass going all the way back to 1973, so should be very easy to find. We replaced our two sliders with solids, and paid something like $25 for each one. Just get a new seal, $40-ish at Dennis Carpenter, et al.

It's easy enough with one person.
That's with a headache rack in the way. Lol

Took the easy way out. $500 cash got new windshield and sliding back glass installed in my driveway.
Its amazing the difference a new windshield makes. Mine had been broken for 10 years and was delaminating. Now suddenly I can't "see" my windshield anymore. Its just the road.

That would be nice.
Mine is scratched and pitted pretty bad.
Also need to have the windshield in the jetta swapped. It's almost as bad from the 2 years in el Paso. Lol
