Then mocked up the springs..

So it looks like the superduty setup wokn't work for the rear mounting bracket system, the result is going to be springs that are closer together in the back than the front, so things are shaped like this.. \ /

However, I think if I used this bracket..

I should end up with something that works.

More pics to come!

Can you do the rsk up front? Like people do when using SD springs, or am I looking at your "problem" wrong?

Jasper,
Unless I measured wrong (which I am completely capable of doing when being hosed on by a storm) It looks like the back of the front springs are closer to eachother than the front are. I'm hoping that the other bracket setup will move the rear of the springs out more so that I get that solved.

Riot,
Shoulda grabbed those when I was there!

Well the ones I took a pic of are currently on the black truck.

If you have some and they are still attached to springs, I don't mind removing them.

I did the super duty swap just like you were purposing with the super duty shackles. It worked out fine. Yes the springs aren't parallel but it isn't a problem. I used 99-2004 super duty springs and had to extend my 89 frame to accommodate the length.

Rides and drives great.

Rolled under the front of the frame to see how things line up.

These tabs made the front brackets too far apart so they had to go.

Pulled Rear diff out of the black truck and it bolted right into the back of the bronco. (Wish everything went that well!!)

There is some fine tuning to be done, but this is about where this will sit for the back of the front springs.. at least at this point.

Wow that looks amazingly clean for what it is. Are you going to use the whole tub or just cut panels out?
