So I have a new in box hydroboost for an OBS Superduty that another member is interested in. My question is in regards to bricknose and older compatibility.

All you hydroboost users out there: got any experience or input?

As always: thanks and Merry Christmas

From what I understand (research not personal experience) The hydroboost is bolt on for the OBS< for the brick and 80-86 you will require additional parts, aka the pedal assembly from a superduty

I did it to my 1988 F250 super easy.
The pedal had to be removed and modified.
I pushed out the pin welded up the hole.
Made a new hole about an inch higher and pushed the pin in.
Welded that up too.

Now I dont get tired from doing pull ups on the steering wheel just to get the truck stopped anymore.
No more panic stops.

Much safer way to go than a booster.

I used all new ford parts ordered for an 89' F-450 superduty on my 83 with no problems.
