HUH?!?! help please

what is this i just looked under the little engine cover and noticed this thing unplugged what is it what does it do and where does it go :confused: :confused: :confused:

ok i got a responce from TDS and i guess its the thing for the EBPV do you think it would help if i plugged it back in with the winters we get up here in ny

I'd leave it unplugged, but that's me. I hate the whooshing sound it makes when it closes and the only other benefit would be a little faster warm up.

it restricts the exhaust flow on cold days to warm up the truck quicker. it will make the truck slow when it is working but after it warms up the truck will be the same.

how cold does it get in the winter? If below 30 degrees, I would say plug it back in.

If you lived in FL, I would say toss it. If you lived in Alaska, I would say hook it back up.

ok i will plug it back in when it gets cold around october and then un plug when it gets warm in the spring does thatsound like a good idea

I've never unplugged mine & never had a bit of a problem with it.
