A bearing in a blind, sealed hole is very easy to "hydraulic" out. This was how I was trained to remove pilot bearings years ago.

You pack the whole hole with stiff grease, then hammer a tight fitting steel rod into the hole. The pressure of the grease will press the bearing out from behind. It will usually take several toppings - off of grease to complete the removal since a little will get past the rod.
