that goes from the back return tee fitting to the tank selector?

I crushed the line between the tranny and the cab where it has "lips" or body seams and it is cut...

My question is, how do you remove the (it looks as if it was heat shrinked to the metal line) plastic?

I'm thinking of using fuel rated 5/16 hose in the place of this special "Low presure line"... Or is there a better way to fix this?

***I know, I know, it's a stupid question, right?***

Take a knife and cut the plastic off the hard line. I believe your planned replacement would probably work ok.

Thanks franklin2, I thought about taking a sharp knife to it but was concerned about gouging the line and creating an unstoppable leak, but I've got some Permatix Avation gasket sealer No. 3...

I believe I will just cut the plastic and then slop some elephant snot on the area where I will slide the new fuel hose over any gouges...:sly :sly :sly

Could always just replace the whole line too. I don't like where the return is run, not enough space behind the bellhousing as is.
