Hot engine light stays on and temp gauge does not move. I recently put a 01 motor in my 96. Changed out all sensors for obs sensors.
Also ISO of radiator and SD fan.

Maybe pinched wire or the sensor is bad/swapped with the normal temp sensor.

Pretty sure I swapped in obs sensor as SD has diff style plug. I will check wires. Thanks.

Iirc, the temp sender and OT switch are the same size. Is the gauge working?

Negative. I took the ole one out and put obs sensor in.
