ok well ive been working and not been on much now i have some cash saved up and i have a friend witha 83 ford f250 stepside and he also has a 67 ford f250 both 4x4. now i thought taht the 67 would get ethier a perkins diesel or a 6.9 and does anyone know how well the 6.0s and 6.4s are made by ford?? cuz the 82 is gettin the new powerstroke now what would i have to do for both i mean the 67 is straight forward i thinka nd the 83 im really stumped?? is thier any stand alone kits for the trans and engine or what would ethier one fit in the trucks

Greetings Circleville! Great little town. Used to work at the ol' RCA/Thomson plant there now and again. So you want to put a Powerstroke in that truck eh? Can't think of anyone off hand here, who was willing to torture themselves that way. :dunno

6.0 and 6.4's are great motors when all of the emissions componets are removed. If I were doing the swap I would buy a wrecked truck and do a complete conversion.

ok that is what i was wantin to here and agnem i was bigoilburner19 lol but yeah its a crappy place the next biggest place here is trimold and i hate that place and minimum wage anit good ethier lol but once the emisions stuff is off they are good motors i know a few wrecked trucks around here and they arent to expensive and also i remember someone tellin me awhile back who does the moose injectors etc. was that u agnem or someone else i love those 6.9s they are a good motor im tired of 7.3ls its liek everyone has done it but a new 6.4 into a 80's truck now who has done that i cant think of anyone honestly on different sites etc. now anyone wanna guide me to a conversion point or am i basically on my own with the new 6.4?
