ok heres my problem.i have a 1994 ford f-superduty.the date on the door say05/94.ive always been told it was a power stroke.well toghint i went out and look at it good and it says turbo diesel.and it dosnt have the vent things on the bumper.were the first power strokes like that.thanks in advance for any help



edit:never mind.i forgot my dad told me it was wrecked and that he went to a junk yard and found parts from a diffrent truck

Still may not be a Stroke. Does your engine look like this:

Your bumper easily could've been replaced in the trucks lifetime. What tranny do u have? If it's an auto, then it's not a stroker, as the 'stroke only came with ZF5 stick's that year. The pics above are a good way to check as well. Otherwise, post a picture here

my 94 is a powerstroke, with a zf5, says turbodiesel on the fender, and doesnt have the bumper with the cut outs

its a powerstroke.the front end got totaled and thats why it dosnt have the cut outs.and so instead of goin out and lookin for spicific parts, he just found a front bumper and stuff from a truck he found.thanks for the help

Mine is all origanal powerstroke and it dont have the CUT OUTS and it says TURBO DIESEL NOT POWERSTROKE< but mine is a POWERSTROKE

the easiest way to tell which engine you have is what type of injection do you have IDI or DI.
