I have an 86 F250 Lariat XLT. I would like to rebuild the front end today. However, my factory service manual is not here yet. Can anyone tell me if the torque specs for front end parts are the same on gasoline and diesel F250?
Possibly. Regardless of the engine, it can be a Dana 44 or Dana 50. Both setups are TTB with leaf springs on an F250. Main difference is the hub size and ujoint size (in the knuckle).
The torque specs are the same. Same for the bronco as well. I should be rebuilding the front end this weekend. I also got my C6 back from the shop. It's going to be a good weekend.
