Hello all! I'm glad to have found this site as it appears to have a wealth of knowledgeable members. Nice to meet everyone! The reason I'm here is due to the fact that I own a 1991 F250 7.3 supercab - manual/4:10. It is strictly used for hauling a 2500 lbs truck camper across the western US. The truck has 129,000 miles and I hope it last many more trips. We are not all "tree huggers" out here. I spent the first 34 years of my life in the moonshine hills of east TN but headed west about 8 years ago and never looked back.

Thank ya much!! I still have alot to learn about the IDI but this site may be better than any AAA for roadside assistance!

Even Ford dealers can't match what this forum members know about the idi engines. Try to have any ford dealer time your engine.. I bet they will tell you it is done by ear and yours sounds fine.. Now pay us 100 bucks for ear timing your engine...
