I have been looking at pictures of full-size Broncos that have had their radius-arm bushings replaced with HEIM-joints.

The set-up looks way better than the stock radius-arm set-up.

I am considering possibly replacing my radius-arm bushings with the HEIM-joints on my 1985 F-350.

Has anyone done this??

Thanks.

Sounds like a tech article to me. How much road noise would be transmitted through? I know my '92 1 ton 2WD needed new radius arm bushings on the driver's side at least when I traded it. It was very annoying over bumps, right under your feet.

Typically this is done on offroad rigs, that is, I have seen it very often on non-streetable vehicles and never on daily drivers. I would imagine that more noise as well as shock would be transmitted to the rest of the truck.
