Headlight Switch Connector

How does one get the headlight switch connector off the switch? I've had no luck getting the retainer clips off the switch--they're really solid. Do they make a special tool to span these little plastic annoyances enough that the two parts can be separated?

Having never actually looked at one of the headlight switches, don't know if there is something special, but whenever I am dealing with a nasty electrical connection, I find PB blaster to be handy (supposedly not flammable).

PB blaster does not readilt ignite but it can damage some plastics. The best thing to do is get really coordinated with 2 screw drivers. If its really wedged on there you may need a new connector. Heat can make them get stuck/welded together.

I've always done the two screwdriver trick too...kinda like using chopsticks at a
Chinese restaurant! Course that's until you break one of the little connectors...then only one screwdriver is required!

Sounds good. If that doesn't work, I may have to ask the wife to help...
