do i have too remove the motor or can i just jack the cab up a ways too get it up high enough

I did mine without lifting the cab or the engine. If I did it again, I would pull the engine out. I had to use an engine hoist to put the heads into place. You also need to thread the studs in after you put the head on, and you will need to but the back studs through the holes in the head before you lower them in. I used rubber bands to hold the studs in.
