Electric fuel pump won't fix air intrusion or weak batteries or starter.

How old are the glow plugs? You just said hard start, you didn't specify what it's doing.

You’re getting air somewhere. Check everything for a leak. Common places are fuel filter housing, soft line at the frame rail and any hardline connection where there is an olive.

In the morning it's very hard but after it runs and warms up it ok until you leave it set for about 45 min to hour then it's hard to start it run great when it starts

Might not be a bad idea to try some fuel rated clear tubing to find your air bubbles.

Could almost be a injection pump failing as well as bad glow plugs. When cold with the bad plugs it takes extended cranking to light off. Test it by plugging your block heater in the morning for an hour or so and see what it does. The ip once the truck is warmed up it heat soaks the wore out ip

Interesting, fellow at swap meet last week said he could only get his early 94 7.3 started by putting air pressure in the fuel tank.
How ?? Why ??
