got some questions about frames

I have a 96 Chevy k1500 and its start to show its age. The frame is boxed to almost edge of door on the from and I noticed it has finally rusted through and it needs repair bad. I have a e250 frame to use to replace rust. Was wondering if I were to box the frame would it cause issues I want to reinforce whole thing cause I know Chevy frames are trash on these and if boxing the frame works on this than I wanted to do the idi

I have owned many of these trucks. Boxing the frame will make them stronger if you do it right. I dont bex frome solid. I leave litening holes fo ii can treat the internat frame for rust.
