Ok so with Gary's help
I was able to bid and successfully I might add get me a tach-n-time!
That means a couple things, I can now time these engines locally or even a 1-2 hour drive...and make a few bucks,
(I hope) and....I will be able to play with mine once I get it into the Bronco. In the mean time, I'll be testing the unit on the truck out front with the 088 ATS I have that I got super cheap!
Gives me a reason to see how good it's timed and learn the meter it's self.
Now I noticed it allows use of a timing light, does anyone know how that works and if it works well for other say 6.2 GM's or other diesels I could work on? Do I need a special light or just inductive PU as I have a couple of inductive ones.
Also got a cool old wall art Mac Tools one too...spring clip on spark lead...like I said that one's shop "Wall Art"
Any tips on timing lights appreciated
Thanks again Gary!
