glow plug wires.

im about to yank my motor out of my ford..its due for some major sealing as everything leaks lol and i have a turbo kit that i am going to install all in 1 shabang. while i have everything out i noticed that the main power wires going to the glow plug module are very burnt and toasty. what i want to do is move the entire glow plug relay and module off the engine. when i re wire the module can i extend the wires going to the glow plugs themselves? i know it works off resistance but will extending the wires throw it out of wack. thanks.

I extended my wires about 3" to replace the burnt up ends. I had no problems, but I don't know about moving the whole relay and controller. That might cause some issues.
