Glow plug relay?

Hello,I joined this forum a little while ago to read up on my 86 f250 6.9. I have learned a lot from this site and people seam really helpful..jumped in tonite and turned the key on and glow plug light didn't turn on,cranked and cranked.. Decided to jump the terminals on the glow plug relay and she fired right up! Outside temp was 90+ the plugs should hav turned on right? Or is there a deaper problem than that?? Thanks

Once its light outside, check the wires from the solenoid to the relay. Mine broke when I relocated the relay for the turbo. Did the same thing.
