2000 F350 Last week I got stopped buy the DOT when I went to pull my registration out of the glove box I found a foot of water in the glovebox. I have no visable leaks at top of windshield, I looked under windshield gasket found a small touch of surface rust. If is is the winshiel seal hows it getting into my glove box???? Thanks in advance Members who have sucsessfully fixed this problem please reply

;Poke;Poke Drill two 1/4 inch holes in bottom of glove box and drive on. Your windshield is leaking.
The drain holes will drip on the floor of truck and let you know it's raining outside. ;Sweet :rotflmao

Seriously, from my experience, the rust spot you found is likely a small part of the visible problem. I'm betting if you pull the windshield you will find the mount lip is rusted way worse that you can see and it's leaking. Good news is, a trip to your local glass shop to squirt some window sealer around the gasket will maybe seal up the leak.

Good luck!!

As long as it's not Yellow you'll be fine, just wet soggy papers. Your kind of an exception tho, usually it's on the drivers side and that screws up any module behind the kick board and sometimes the fuse panel. Must be a tight glovebox door to have a foot of aqua still in it. Did ya get your feet wet?

It was not a laughing matter I got pulled over by the truck team I tried to hand my registration to the DOT cop it looked like cream chipped beef. The rain water is coming from the roof area it's amazing that it can make it into the glove box. My glass guy wants me to take our windshield and redo . But the more I look at it I think it's the clearance lights. I can't believe you have to take down the headliner to undo the clearance lights what a pain. So I siliconed the uphill side of the clearance lights and I am waiting for heavy rain.
