i dont have any problems with dieselsite.they are nice people to do bussines with but that just looks like an abortion.

yup.click on the picture link in my signature,check out the truck albums and you can see the installation of my bdp system.its actually a shame that the bracket,pump and filters have to go under the truck as they would look SWEET in the bed.but the fuel pump is a pusher not a puller.so it needs to be mounted so it doesnt have to suck as hard to get the fuel.

oh and the only thing i didnt like about beans system is the way he runs the hoses between the pump and the filters.wouldve looked better if steel line was used.im eventually going to change that to steel lines in the future if i keep the truck.

I used a Super duty pump and fuel bowl on mine then put a regulator after the heads.

Is that a bone yard thing or new? How does it hook up? any bad things with it?

I already had the regulated return on the truck.
I used stock lines to the pump, but the lines from the pum to the filter and to the heads, as well as the return lines are all custom bent 1/4" thick wall tub with vibralock fittings.

also remember you will need a special fuel fitting for the drivers side head since yours is a 97.beans comes with it dont know if anybody else has it as well though.must tell bean that it is a 97.and IIRC its costs almost the same to do it yourself as it costs to buy a complete kit.the BDP kit is 40.00 cheaper than dieselsite and much better looking.

does the turbo have to be removed to get to the fuel pump and High side lines? or can the turbo stay put and the work be done from the front?

turbo removal makes the job alot easier.but it can be done with it still in place.

be careful when removing the pump.the plunger has been known to fall out and drop inside the engine.if this happens it will require engine removal to get it out unless it drops all the way into the pan and you can possibly fish it out with a magnet through the dipstick hole
