Mine was clogged, returning to wrong tank. Tanks cleaned out, new shower heads and inline filters on both tanks before they get to the selector valve.

Had the same thing with the one on my F250. The one on the crew cab was just dead.

I was just looking at solenoid actuated brass flow valves for industrial application and I wonder if they would be a better replacement. They are certainly much cheaper.

They get expensive when you get fuel rated valves with a large diameter. The other thing is you have to get latching solenoids or they require a fair amount of juice to hold them open. These selector valves once actuated stay where they are until they are actuated to go the other way. I can't say that that would be a show stopper but it's worth noting the differences.
